Celebrate the Miracle—Receives Indie Award for Christmas Story

Heidi Hanseen received a “Finalist” Indie’s Award in the novella category, for her combined book, music & Christmas play, Holy Stable™ Celebrate the Miracle…Story, Music, Nativity Play. Next Generation Indie Book Awards was established by literary agent Marilyn Allen,” to recognize and honor the most exceptional independently published books.”

Though the awards were given near the end of May, Ms. Hanseen was surprised to see the envelope containing her award medal sitting on her desk just a few days ago…”It’s really fun and looks a lot like an Olympic medal.” It had been delayed in arriving due to the Canadian postal strike.

Heidi is a mother of eight and first time author. Her long held interests in studying scripture, benefiting relationships, drama, music, artistic expression and nurturing love came together in this multi-media experience. She’s an avid reader and writer and has conducted children’s music and participated in choirs for many years. She’s currently working on a marriage book and has plans for a future Holy Stable™ prequel soon.

With the desire to create more cherished Christmas memories and promote a deeper connection to the Savior, in Celebrate the Miracle…Story, Music, Nativity Play, Heidi highlights the love between Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.
